Hi everyone,
In todays episode I want to talk about the side of living abroad which we usually don't want to talk about. It is an amazing experience and I cherish every second of it but it also has its difficulties and tough times.
I talk about the feeling of loneliness...
I talk about how you miss out on achievements and milestones of your family and friends...
I talk about how you miss out on new "Hello's" and on "Goodbye's"...
I talk about missing out on certain food...
You will loose some people along the way. But this will happen regardless and is part of our life.
I enjoy living in New Zealand and don't regret that I took this chance and made the move nearly 5 years ago. There are so many awesome adventures I have been on, new challenges I have learnt so much from and new people who became good friends over time. BUT there will be times when all you want is a hug from your mom or a comforting conversation face to face with your friends who you know for more than 10 years already.
