When many parents are told their child will be born with a disability, they’re urged to abort their child. And, tragically, many will do it.

We’re often told this is the compassionate thing to do. But in a biblical worldview we see it for what it is: the murder of the most vulnerable. You see, a person’s value isn’t determined by their level of ability or quality of life. Their value was assigned by the Creator when he made them in his very image.

Yes, we live in a fallen world, broken by sin and so our bodies aren’t perfect. But every person—including those with disabilities—is made in God’s image, deserving of life.
