Born & raised in the Bay Area and growing up in SoCal has influenced her diverse musical expression. Her music fuses and draws inspiration from the many musical styles that influenced her throughout her life. From rap & hip-hop to jazz or EDM she finds her excitement in the spark of flow & feeling rather than any specific structure or methodology.
During the conversation GLO shares her story of recently attending a 10-Day Silent Meditation Retreat during her birthday where she learned and practiced the Vipassana Technique. She explains what the technique consist of, the benefits and challenges she faced during the retreat, and how she felt returning home once it was completed. GLO also shares the history behind this practice, how the container was held, the diet during the retreat, and much more.
