I am now in a place where I am rejecting this. I am no longer in a place where I feel I need to prove my worth and value to people, places, and things that inherently see me as valueless. Working on my doctorate degree became so taxing, I was anxious to simply log into my account. It was a years-long battle in my head of “There is work to do. Why aren’t you doing the work?
