Hebrews 13:2 - Be sure to welcome strangers into your home. Strangers. Yall all good with that? We’ve all been taught to be leery, cautious, and suspicious of strangers. The fine line between prudence and panic, possibly led to paranoia. Today, we are super adept at avoiding strangers, even if it has nothing to do with fear or cautiousness. We avoid any contact with people we don’t know by keeping airpods in our ears and our heads down or our eyes buried in our mobile devices. There is even a bit of a generational gap today when it comes to our comfort level of interacting with strangers in public spaces. And yet the Bible says in Hebrews 13:2 - Be sure to welcome strangers into your home.
