There were fights with skinheads, suburban dudes acting as "crews," countless stage dives, a full scale riot, black eyes, a broken nose, and a broken window at a gig in a second story loft courtesy of a guitar amp. There was also the time we all had to wait it out because someone pulled a gun out in the parking lot. This all transpired within my first two years in the scene. Needless to say I was hooked.
