We're so used to expecting instant results and gratification with everything in order to call it 'success' sometimes we don't see that getting better is a spiral staircase and not an escalator.

Jenn then talks about how the universe lets you know you're on the right path, right on time. As Jenn was making major decisions, she found out she will be in her first festival. It's not that 'BIG BREAK' moment, but it's validation that she's on the right path. The signs are there if you're willing to see them.
