This episode is all about raising awareness of the specific challenges faced by the LGBTQ+ community during lockdown, quarantine and self-isolation as a result of coronavirus and COVID-19.
I’m in conversation with fellow queer coach Isla McLachlan (she/her) where we share our own experiences as well as those of our communities. We talk about the importance of self-care and tuning into what we need more than ever right now and how we're personally navigating through this time. We also discuss being quarantined with a partner of the opposite sex when you know you're gay, going back 'in the closet' because you're in lockdown with people who don't understand or accept who you are and how to make missing your loved ones a little bit easier.
