What to Expect from Social Security Disability in 2020
Manage episode 251401317 series 2505482
What are the trends that we are seeing in the Social Security disability world and what can you expect in 2020 and beyond.
If you have an active application for benefits, or if you have already been approved but are concerned about a possible "continuing disability review" you need to educate yourself about the big picture as seen by a Social Security disability lawyer who interacts with SSA on a daily basis.
A quick warning: Social Security continues to make it difficult to win SSDI benefits and they are becoming more aggressive in trying to terminate benefits for those already approved. But SSA has also let us know what types of evidence will be most helpful whether you are trying to recover benefits or trying to preserve what has already been awarded.
