Mosman Oil and Gas Ltd (AIM:MSMN) CEO Andy Carroll talked with Proactive's Stephen Gunnion about the company’s latest developments, including the reacquisition of EP-145 in the Northern Territory of Australia. Carroll highlighted that the growing gas shortage and helium market opportunities made this a strategic move. “We're very pleased to take back control of EP-145 in this increasingly promising environment,” Carroll stated, referencing the company's 100% ownership of the project. Additionally, he noted that a favourable political shift in the Northern Territory is expected to further benefit the project’s progress. The discussion also focused on Mosman’s expanding interest in helium, particularly in the US, where a growing semiconductor manufacturing industry and limited helium supplies present new opportunities. Carroll revealed that the company's low-cost Vecta project in the US is expected to commence drilling before the end of the year. He further explained that Mosman is actively pursuing deals in the US to capitalise on strong helium demand, backed by a recent capital raise. Carroll emphasised that the company is “well funded” to pursue these opportunities, having sold its Stanley asset and raised capital.
