The kōiwi of 64 Māori and Moriori tūpuna were returned from the Natural History Museum of Vienna this week, many of them stolen from Aotearoa by Austrian grave-robber Andreas Reischek. Nē? talked to two of the team behind Te Papa’s Karanga Aotearoa Repatriation Programme, Te Arikirangi Mamaku-Ironside and Dr. Amber Aranui, about bringing our people home.
