Derik Klein, also known as Dolly Madison, shares his journey from performing in theater and singing to becoming a drag queen. He discusses his upbringing in a liberal and accepting family, his exploration of his sexuality, and finding his tribe in college. Derik talks about how throat cancer led him to discover drag and how it became a way for him to continue performing.
