Neal Spruce and Nelson Spruce are a father and son-duo that is crushing it in the world of fitness. Neal was one of the top bodybuilders in the US, and partnered with Gold’s Gym to create the first nutrition program for the gym industry in the 80s, called “Nutritionalysis”. He is the former owner of The National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and is the CEO of dotFIT, an evidence-based fitness programming company. Nelson, his son, is a former NFL wide receiver, consultant and ambassador for dotFIT, and current VP of brand/product development at Fibr.

🏈 In the NFL, Nelson Spruce spent time with the Rams, Bears, Chiefs, and Chargers, and was featured on HBO’s Hard Knocks as a member of the Rams.
🏈 In 2020, Nelson Spruce also competed for the LA WIldcats in the XFL, where he earned honors as Mid-Season All XFL.
🏈 In college, Spruce attended the University of Colorado, where he earned Second Team All-Pac-12 for two seasons in a row.
🏋️ Neal Spruce has developed fitness programs and products in over 1,500 fitness facilities worldwide, serving over 500,000 new participants annually.
🏋️ Neal is also the creator of the Bodybugg within Apex Fitness which became the first Wearable Device for Weight Control in the fitness industry.
