Episode 13: Finding Yourself in the Dark Night of the Soul with LiYana Silver
Manage episode 444274549 series 3563106
In today’s episode, Britta talks with LiYana Silver about the Dark Night of the Soul. For LiYana, the Dark Night was a profound initiation, one that rocked the foundation of her former self and changed her irreversibly, as Dark Nights have a tendency to do. We talk about several themes, including treating ourselves as a lover versus a warrior, coming into right relationship with our darker emotions (especially anger), and what helps when we find ourselves in the midst of the Dark Night - or, as Britta sometimes refers to it as The Transformation Cauldron.
LiYana Silver is a transformational coach, teacher, and author of Feminine Genius, as well as the forthcoming: Finding Yourself in the Dark Night of the Soul. She helps guide people through life’s darkest times, so they can enter the next chapter awake and unfettered to become who they were always meant to be.
