This week, we have a HUGE guest. It’s Aaron Carnes, the author of the expanded 2nd edition of In Defense of Ska! Oh goodness. Wait, that’s our co-host! So Adam Davis will take over. He’s even brought his own co-host, Tara Hahn of the band, Half Past Two.

Since the expanded 2nd edition of In Defense of Ska was just released, Adam wanted to ask a bunch of questions. He dove deep into Aaron's past. They talk about all his old band: Flat Planet, Fashion Police, The Sudsmen, Captain Carmel’s Calliope, and Beau & The Solution. They also talk about his career as a music journalist and how it led to becoming a ska defender, and he even brings up Aaron's FIRST book—a collection of short fiction called True Stories From A Wasteland Called Earth.

They also talk Sammy Sody, the various music videos he shot for people like Dan Potthast and My Former Self. They also reveal which episode of In Defense of Ska made it clear that they wanted to keep doing this podcast. And I’m sure you already know it just might be Tim Capello!
