Joan of Arc, a beacon of supposed divine conviction, breathed life into a nation on the brink of collapse. Where once the French wavered under the crushing force of English dominance, her presence alone shattered their enemies' momentum. The tide of the Hundred Years' War, long a tale of French despair, now surged with newfound hope as her unyielding resolve turned the advantage slowly but surely into France’s hands.
Orleans. 12th October 1428 - 7th May 1429.
French Forces: 2,400 Garrisoned Soldiers, 3,000 Armed Civilians, 4,000 Relief Force of Soldiers.
English Forces: ~ 5,000 Soldiers.
