Aloha! Welcome back to part 3 of episode 4: The Haunting at UH Mānoa! If you haven't listened to the first 2 parts, start there.
When we left off, Toshi just had his nightmare and woke up to a choking ghost. He suspected the girl he saw hanged in his closet was the girl he loved in his dreams. Jerry called family friend Kupuna Kimo, who would bless the room. Kobayashi, Toshi's floormate, was dating Megan, who was also sensitive to spirits. He planned to bring Megan to the room blessing to see if her visions lined up with Kimo's.

Pretty cool but I found this interesting account of the haunting at the Mokihana dorms after I finished recording the episode. It lines up closely with the story I've heard about the cursed room.
