Socrates said “the unexamined life is not worth living”
Creating the person that you want to be by accepting the person that you are. Part of accepting who we are and still striving to create the person we want to become requires some thought work.
Examining our life requires some self-reflection and self-care. In this incredibly fast-paced world where our mobile phones or wrists if you have a smartwatch are constantly buzzing, it can be difficult to carve out time to block out the noise and carve space for self-reflection.
Self-reflection or personal reflection is taking the time to think about, meditate on, ponder and evaluate or give serious thought to your behaviors, thoughts, feelings, beliefs, values, and motivations.
Remember you are loved by God above. He wants you to love yourself, advocate for yourself, and take care of yourself. There is only one you and he has work for you to do. You can't do that if you are broken, frustrated, overwhelmed, or irritable. Clean it up, create those boundaries, and live a life of Peace, Purpose, and Power.
