I get a tad philosophical as I talk about the immense value of time in the realm of shopping for jewelry. We often fall into the trap of thinking time is endless, causing us to waste precious hours on exhaustive research. I don't think that's necessary in most cases, and I'm not talking only about jewelry, which is why I'm a broken record as I keep recommending that you harness the expertise of local jewelers who can guide you efficiently through the process. Then there is the fundamental question: "Why do women love diamonds?" I don't think the "why" needs to be a part of the jewelry and engagement ring process.
