They discuss the unlikely partnership of Arthur J. Hanes, the lawyer for the United Klans of America, and William Bradford Huie, a sensationalist journalist, who are brought together by the court case of MLK assassin James Earl Ray. Despite polar opposite views on race, Hanes and Huie found common cause in the lucrative world of conspiracy; together, they thought they could make Memphis the new Dallas. Raymond and Pate will explain the nefarious connections Hanes with Governor George Wallace's ideology of racial hatred that is still prevalent in the politics of American South today.
