Karla - Earlier in the summer I spun a 2 ply in Smith and Ewe merino in beautiful pink tonal

Currently working on spinning for the Shift Cowl by Andrea Mowry and I’m using my Akerworks 3D printed Bobbins and they’re awesome! The three braids for fiber I chose are merino or merino blends with a green and purple theme

Karla - I had my sewing machine serviced this summer and I want to make a blanket jacket. I bought a pattern from La’Rae Handmade on instagram and am watching facebook marketplace for a wool blanket.

Also going to needle felt some acorns today I hope.

Stash Enhancement

Karla - There’s been a few things have come home with me this summer, the one that’s stayed out are two balls of Shhhhh Double Knitting. A slow rainbow gradient that the boys picked out. I think I’ll get my knitting machine out and make some scarves.
