Eps.69 (Solo) Release Resistance (Say what you need to Say)
The need to communicate our needs and boundaries openly and honestly with those in our life is clearly an important goal for all of us. For many women, we carry the belief that our opinion does not hold a place, does not hold value, or that we were made to believe that we best seen and not heard.
It is time we blow out the sidewall on this narrative. If we have spent years (or decades) living and operating from this limited belief and default pattern, it can feel daunting to unpack. Here are 5 steps to start on your journey to communicating your thoughts, feelings, values, and needs:
- Recognize that you have resistance around communicating and expressing emotions
- Feeling the resistance in the body
- Identify what is you need to express and how you can and should express it.
- Acknowledge that neurologically we are wired for homeostasis and safety
- Take action- practice communicating your needs
