Angelo Ortiz is back to remind you that the first-ever MusicFest for KidZ becomes a reality on Sunday, June 25th from 11 am to 5 pm. What is the MusicFest for KidZ? It is a fund-raising opportunity when a great selection of St. Thomas' most talented musicians take to the stage in Tillett Gardens to share their own compositions throughout the day. Why? All the fanfare will benefit Pistarckle Theater's Summer Youth Camp Programs: StarZ Camp #1 is The Musical Theater Camp with this year's featured play: Disney's The Lion King JR. and StarZ Camp #2 is the Leadership-Playwriting Camp. What you can expect to see, hear, & experience? Special appearances by young musical students, fantastic raffle prizes, refreshments, & more. Who will be participating? Musicians being featured throughout the day, include: Special cameos by youth musicians from G-Clef Music Academy, The Jake Bradley Band, Artie Cornett, Barefoot Davis, Rob Eberhart, Eddie Kusar, Adam Parr, Danny Silber, St. Groovus, Shelly May, Eric Malmstrom, Michelle Perry-May, Saint Groovus, & Christopher Kollins (KRSKO). Save the Date for the MusicFest for KidZ: Sunday, June 25th, from 11am to 5pm. Raffle items gladly accepted in exchange for promotional considerations. Tickets $20 donation/adults; $10 donation/kids include event entry & a drink of your choice. Special surprise: Our new theme song, Nova, from the CD, Clear Static, was written & performed by Angelo Ortiz, himself.
