Continuous Glucose Monitoring (aka CGM) is being marketed to athletes as a “fuel gauge” to provide “glucose performance zone” targets. I’ve gone deep to help you learn what CGM is, what its limitations are, whether blood glucose concentrations represent a fuel gauge, and whether "glucose performance zones" are even real, or useful, or dodgy.
