Ryan echoes this sentiment, describing how challenging it was to witness his father cope with the loss of his mother and how he now helps his father with everyday tasks, like learning how to use the TV in her absence.

We switch to lighter subjects, such as Ozempic and weight management, a topical subject given Ryan’s own reflections on how his grief led to emotional eating and a change in his physical health. Ryan admits that he’s pushed a lot of personal care aside as he dealt with his mother’s illness and subsequent passing, but he’s now ready to refocus on his health and well-being.

As the episode nears its conclusion, Pol’ continues Ryan’s coffee reading which reveals exciting opportunities on the horizon and new career prospects, warning him not to let self-doubt get in the way.
