Thank God for the written Word of God but it was never to be a substitute for a consciousness of God.

Yes, we need to know Scripture, but we must also live life fully aware of God so that we are hearing and seeing and getting the supernatural results God needs us to have.

God showed us in the Garden of Eden that the life He created us for was fellowship. Jesus showed us in His life that the life God created us for was fellowship. Why settle for anything less? God should be more real to us than the clothes on our body!
