The painbody was first introduced by eckhart tolle who brilliantly introduced and defined what it was. Since that time I have leveled up the definition as: all of your unhealed suppressed emotions coalesced into a singular entity which takes on a personality of its own. It is your shadow self, in other words and will come alive and attack if it senses you are attempting to level up in life as this diminishes its ability to feed off of your pain and suffering.
