Wow...its finally here: the end of the WNBA's 25th Anniversary season. It has been a long journey watching these amazing women compete all season long and it has been even more fun covering it all.
On this edition of the Hoop Talk Podcast, we start off by tying up some loose ends by giving our thoughts on semifinal round and give our overview on the season for the Connecticut Sun and Las Vegas Aces who got eliminated.
Then we breakdown the unprecedented matchup between the Chicago Sky and Phoenix Mercury in the 2021 WNBA Finals. We discuss how the Sky came out victorious winning the series 3-1, some of the biggest storylines in the series and shared our overview of the season for the last two teams standing.
Finally, to close out the pod, Jay and Ryan give their last heartfelt thoughts on what it was like covering yet another WNBA season and give their final remarks on just how special this 25th anniversary season was.
