The Bible is 66 books written by over 40 different authors - some of whom are eyewitnesses to the events they record - and there are thousands of manuscripts written close in time to the original manuscripts!
Numerous scribes and translators worked to maintain the accuracy and integrity of the original text. Additionally, there are non-Christian historians and authors who acknowledge Jesus's life and teaching, and discuss events recorded in the Bible, thereby corroborating much of the history recorded in Scripture.
