24:55Text “Do people even want to know about some of these issues? Because I think some of the meat production concerns, it's kind of like people would rather in some cases, I think some people might not really want to know all the nitty gritty. They don't want to know how the sausage is made. That poses an interesting question and challenge about how you communicate about some of these issues, when maybe there's a resistance among a subset of people who don't want to know more.” - Patti Truant Anderson This is the fourth episode in a special four-part series where we go deep into the food system with some of the brightest minds from Johns Hopkins Center for a Livable Future, an interdisciplinary center based out of the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. One of the reasons that we did this series is because we're about to enter another four years with the Trump administration; and last time, as we know, the Trump administration was pretty terrible for the food system in terms of climate, public health, worker safety, and of course, for the animals. This conversation is with Patty Truant Anderson. Patty is a senior program officer at the center. Part of her work at the Center focuses on public opinion polling around the food system. These polls can inform decisions by lawmakers. The great news is we're not nearly as polarized as it might seem. There is a lot of hope in the results. The Bakers get higher than the sun itself on Apollo Sun Rocks in this special mega episode. Extremely faded. The Large Hadron Collider is taken down again by time traveling animals. The Keplar mission experienced an emergency, but also revealed that there are more planets than there are stars in the universe. Something big hit Jupiter, what the hell was that? The future will be filled with yeast technology. The Bakers share more of their future king plans and discuss which animal you'd want to deliver a beer to you. Some guy put out blow torches with his tongue to set a world record and the cars of the future wont need refueling at all! "Ask if they have a nitro beer on tap, if they do...you buy that beer!" - Apollo…

Axel throws a gauntlet when he purposely insults Dick Tracy right before going on air. I (John) can't stand for that and as a result, I will tell you why Dick Tracy is better than Axel's favorite and most treasured show, Farscape. Dick Tracy 1990 stars Warren Beaty, Al Pacino, Dustin Hoffman, Dick Van Dyke, James Caan, Kathy Bates and Madonna! Farscape stars... the cast of Farscape. Dick Tracy predicted the Apple watch! Farscape predicted people will get lost in space. I say these things not to upset Farscape fans, but to persuade Axel and others like him to give Dick Tracy a chance. Oh yah, also on this episode... The dissection of a giant squid. The future of spacesuits. A newly observed oldest galaxy. North Korea and South Korea, cheese and robots, respectively. "We are only as old as the oldest thing we've found." - Dubious Axel…

And the whole group marvels at the implications of the Open Worm project. "The depth is deeper than the height of mount Everest." - Dr.K…
PART TWO! LISTEN TO PART ONE FIRST. The Dubious Bakers are still reeling from the events of the previous podcast. Trying to wrap their minds around it, the boys have flown in a crack panel of dubious experts: Mr. E, Dr. K, and Hash Bottoms to get to the bottom of the case. The Bakery gets high concept and low brow before ending this episode with a game pitting guest against guest.…
