Miami Beach. Warm water, beautiful beaches, perfect weather, amazing food. It's also home to one of the founding families of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. The Valente Brothers are based in Florida and have been part of the Jiu Jitsu scene since the very beginning. From their beginnings as part of the Gracie Jiu Jitsu Academy in Brazil dating back to the 1950's their work speaks for itself. Their new headquarters in North Miami Beach, FL is very, very impressive and is absolutely worth a visit to anyone interested in learning more about the history and tradition of the beautiful art of Jiu Jitsu. I had the pleasure of visiting their academy this past week. In this episode I talk about my recent travels as I have been on the road fairly extensively lately !
