Penn State football opened up the doors of the Lasch football building on Tuesday afternoon to let the media get a glimpse at the team's bye week progress. Afterward, head coach James Franklin spoke with the media about the team's performance last week and through the first two games. We'll discuss both of those events, plus the important news that came out of it regarding the status of tight end Andrew Rappleyea on today's BWI Live show.

Penn State faces attrition at tight end

Yesterday Penn State head coach James Franklin announced that redshirt freshman tight end Andrew Rappleyea sustained a long-term injury before the Bowling Green game. What does that mean for the Penn State offense? We'll discuss the impact, how it changes potential plans for the season, and how the attrition at tight end is changing things overall.

Next, we'll discuss the other important observations from Penn State's open practice on Tuesday including offensive and defensive notes and how the practice structure worked.
