God releases a "mantle" for people to give people an opportunity to gain leadership and begin walking in a new assignment. The new mantles are not just limited to one thing in particular. God took Elisha from the position of being a follower to the position of being a leader. Elisha got a promotion from the back to the front. Elisha had a mantle released because of his association with Elijah. Association can cause a new mantle. Loyalty to leadership can also cause a new mantle to be produced by God.
