In this episode we define people pleasing tendencies and how, while they have a facade of altruism, they ultimately serve as a detriment to ourselves. We discuss different ways that people pleasing can manifest and ways in which we can take care of ourselves first which then puts us in a better position to serve others. All of this is framed around the concept of filling your own cup first so that it can overflow into others.
