On today's episode, Jason kicks things off with a few choice words for Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs following their ugly Monday Night Football victory over the New York Giants. If it wasn't clear before it is now - the Chiefs stink. Their refusal to evolve and accept that NFL defense have caught up to what they like to do offensively will ultimately be their undoing. The confidence they used to play with has turned into arrogance, so it's no surprise that they get smacked by the good teams and struggle themselves to beat the bad ones. Later, Jason shares a quick thought on the Chicago Bulls' win over the Boston Celtics. Boston got outscored by 28 points in the fourth quarter before they got booed off the floor by their home fans - and that wasn't even the worst part. After the game, Marcus Smart called out stars Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown for not passing the ball more. Maybe Kyrie Irving was right about Tatum and Brown all those years ago? More importantly, is this the beginning of the end for Tatum's time in Boston? Feels like something to monitor. Finally Jason goes deep on the blockbuster deal that saw All-Pro pass rusher Von Miller traded to the Los Angeles Rams. Miller is no longer the Super Bowl MVP-caliber player we saw a few years back, but he doesn't have to be in Los Angeles. With Aaron Donald and Leonard Floyd on the defensive line and Jalen Ramsey anchoring the secondary, Miller gets to function as arguably the greatest '4th option' in the NFL. This is a great deal for the Rams; We all know that the NFL Draft is a crapshoot, so giving up a 2nd and 3rd round pick for a player of Miller's caliber feels like money well spent.
