Storytime With Shade

I held a contest on the 'Storytime With Shade' Facebook page where I asked people to submit short story 'starters.' The ones that had the most reacts after the week was done would have a story made from their 'starter.' This story was tied for runner up with the opening line, "The house always seemed innocent enough; people went in, people came out, and they were always smiling... always."
