In this episode, we take a listen to marine zoologist Elizabeth Carrington Pope, who reflects on her time as a student at the University of Sydney in the 1930s, and on her mentor W. J. Dakin, professor of zoology. In a profession dominated by men, Pope was a successful female scientist who became the first university graduate to land a job at the Australian Museum.
