Alcohol and Old Lace was the 17th episode filmed and the 17th aired of The Andy Griffith Show. (S1.E17)
Plot Summary Alcohol and Old Lace:
Based on an idea from a Broadway play, Andy and Barney run down moonshiners with the help of the Morrison sisters, Jennifer and Clarabelle. After Opie describes their “flower-making machine” the lawmen realize that the Morrison sisters are themselves running a still and promptly destroy it.
We’ll review some notes and “Odd Facts Known by Few” related to the episode Alcohol and Old Lace.
