Micro-Goaling is the art of reducing larger goals and objectives to more realistic and achievable goals. Often people get overwhelmed by creating towering or unrealistic goals, and then don’t follow-through with their resolutions. Sometimes we think so far ahead, and want to get to the end so quickly, we often miss the important steps of identifying and planning what’s needed to achieve that ultimate goal.
BIO: Richard (Rick) Tremblay, MA-HRD, PMQ is a Human Resources professional with over 20 years of management experience in the Non-Profit, For-Profit, Unionized, Educational and Health Care industries. Rick has a Bachelor’s degree in public relations and a Master of Arts in Human Resource Development. In addition to his primary role in HR, Rick also teaches undergraduate courses in Organizational Psychology and Human Relations. He is passionate about Professional and Organizational Development, Career Development, Employee Development and Training.
Rick began his weight loss journey at 409 lbs in September of 2019 when he got gastric bypass surgery. Today Rick has lost over 220 lbs, and continues to maintain the weight loss by understanding how important it is to interdependently incorporate physical fitness with nutrition.
Rick owns and operates the business: Possibilities Leadership, a coaching and consulting firm specializing in Human Resources Consulting, Executive and Employee Coaching, Leadership and Individual Life Coaching (conducted in person or virtually).

Welcome & ice breaker. Rick talks about his story, his background, training, and connection to the community.
Key Presentation (40 minutes)
Rick will explain the following:
· Defining micro-goaling, and how creating steps can help sustain our motivation to meet, succeed and win our goals
· Understanding motivation and recognizing where it comes from
· How to measure and acknowledge your success
· How to establish a self-rewards system
· Why the “evaluation” is so important
