Building Lasting Relationship: Client Appreciation | Tiffany & Ashlee
Manage episode 407491888 series 3561167
Build connections and show your clients how much you appreciate them with well-crafted events! In this episode, Tiffany and Ashlee cover how to create a client appreciation event from start to finish, get the word out, and make the most of your (and your clients’) time. Listen in for specific examples of the successful themed events they’ve hosted (and some events that weren’t ideal)!
Advice for New Agents/Teams with Low Numbers (so far!)
Partner with another agent (or agents) who also wants to show some love to their clients. You don’t have to be on the same team! Just make sure you choose someone who will share the workload.
Invite your clients, renters you’ve helped, and your SOI! Invite your prospects to community events instead.
Reach out to sponsors to ease the financial burden. Try getting multiple sponsors for small amounts rather than trying to get one sponsor to foot the whole bill.
Getting the Word Out
Create a Facebook event and add all your clients so they get notifications (on top of the other ways you’re reaching out).
Add the information to your newsletter. Tiffany and Ashlee’s team has a monthly newsletter for all clients.
Send out a phone call, text, and/or video message! Snail mail or door-dropped invites are also a must.
How Often to Host Client Appreciation Events
Creating everything from scratch can be overwhelming. Only host as many events as you can comfortably handle.
Once you’ve hosted a few, you can reuse some theme ideas, invitations, venues, etc. so you’re not constantly reinventing the wheel.
Theme Ideas!
Seasonal themes are a no-brainer! If you don’t want to plan too deeply, planning your theme according to the season is simple and easy.
Plan your theme according to the location and what you’re offering, then work backward to design your theme.
Use Pinterest or Etsy to brainstorm ideas. If you don’t have an in-house designer, use Canva to design invitations.
“You can always find out what works and what doesn’t… It’s just figuring out what you like to do, what is important to you, and what your clients might like. Nailing down those details will help you choose a place in your area.” – Ashlee Jankovich
“My ‘why’ is a good time with a good theme!” – Tiffany Klusacek
