In today's episode, Arlene Santiago encourages us to "start somewhere" & eat foods you enjoy to energize you. I don't know about you, but that sounds amazing to me!

Arlene Santiago’s got you! She helps women conquer their poor eating habits and get healthy. With her guidance, you’ll be able to dig deep and tap into the energy you didn’t think you had so you can handle anything that’s thrown at you! It doesn’t matter what you do for a living or how old you are, you can do this. She’s a mom who runs around with her kids. The mom who works full-time in and out of the house. The mom who takes care of the house, the husband and everyone else but herself. Despite all this stress, she will teach you how to take care of you because Arlene knows you have it in you! Your time is now! You have taken the first step in the right direction. As you start this journey, I will be at your side helping create a better you. You will not be alone. WHY SHOULD YOU TAKE ARLENE'S ADVICE? Because Arlene been there. After each child, it became increasingly difficult to lose weight and focus on her health. She found it discouraging living the way she was -- giving in to the temptation of sugar and taking the easy route. Part of her regular routine was going through the drive through and then lying on the couch. She felt drained, depressed and discouraged. It wasn’t easy but eventually Arlene got fed up and made the decision to get off the couch and eat healthy! She’s been running since high school to help stay active. When she runs, Arlene feels like she can accomplish anything. There's a calm that comes over her, almost like meditation. Arlene can get her best ideas when she runs. HER WHY It’s heartbreaking to see people you love suffer through disease. Hospital visits, falling, too many medications, weakness, fainting. Although we all have predispositions to disease, certain diseases can be prevented. Arlene teaches older adults how to restore their motor control, mobility and stay out of the hospital. With her guidance, she is making a conscious choice to change your life and stay active enough to keep up with your grandchildren. You will be able to live your life to the fullest!
