In this week's episode, I am honored and excited to welcome our guest, Carlos Legaspy.
Carlos Legaspy is the President and CEO of Insight Securities and the author of the book, “Going for Broke” a story of how one man fought against large-scale financial corruption and won.
Carlos has over 30 years of Wall Street experience, both as an advisor and a Broker-Dealer owner.
He’s also a certified co-leader for the ManKind Project International and is currently the president of the ManKind Project Mexico.
“Going for Broke” is a classic David versus Goliath story, where international criminals tried to evade their responsibility for their criminal behavior by pinning it on Carlos.
His book is full of incredibly colorful characters. If it weren’t for the documents Carlos presents, you could believe he pulled them out of a James Bond movie.
I have enjoyed knowing Carlos for years. We worked together with leading social-emotional men’s leadership training events in The ManKind Project and now as a coaching client. When Carlos says, “I create a world of abundance by teaching, sharing, and listening,” he means it.
He is one of the rare heart-centered CEOs and business leaders, disrupting the dysfunctional "good ole boy” network that’s dominated Wall Street for years. He’s a master at human connection, believing in putting people first and profits will follow is the most productive and purposeful way to lead a successful financial services firm.
In our interview this Friday, Carlos is going to talk about the release of his book, “Going for Broke,” where he will share his story of how the perpetrators accused him of being part of a 500 Million Dollar Ponzi scheme by the scheme perpetrators, what he had to do to overcome the challenge and the lessons and gifts from the experience.
He wants people to learn from his story and experience that our fears and false beliefs are the only limits to what we can achieve, and we’ll never know our true limits unless we give it our all.
