Hello and welcome to episode 94 of Once Upon a Nightmare. In this episode I discuss Slenderman (Sylvain White, 2018).

Slenderman, while fictional, has made its way into the real world. In the film four teens decide to prove the Slenderman doesn't exist, which backfires on them in the worst possible way. In real life, two girls would take the myth of Slenderman too far when they tried to murder a friend in the name of Slenderman. 12 year old Morgan Geyser and Anissa Weier stabbed Payton Leutner 19 times. Luckily Payton survived. Slenderman is a cautionary tale about how to monitor what your children watch online.
