I chose to talk about this topic because I believe that schools could and should be doing more to help the students who happen to be struggling the most. Many students have a mental illness that not everyone knows about and they could be struggling majorly and if even just one caring teacher or staff member steps in and tries to help it could make a humongous difference in the child's life. Schools really need to become more involved in order to save a life.
