Many families in the San Diego area have a problem—their children are being fed during the week, thanks to lunches provided by public schools, but on the weekends, some are struggling to provide consistent meals to their kids. Angela Brannon-Batista noticed this issue and set out to put a stop to it. Her nonprofit, “It’s All About the Kids”, provides families with healthy food and produce to take home for the weekend, but it needs your help to continue to provide this service to the community.
