For the Assessment Year (AY) 2022–23 and the Financial Year (FY) 2021–22, the last date to file ITR was 31 July 2022. Many people, submitted their tax returns. In accordance with the information available on the income tax website, over 6.16 crore ITRs were filed by 11th September. More than 5 crore ITRs are already managed by the tax department.
