With the help of an experienced assistant teacher, she quickly adapted to the role and rose through the ranks to become a preschool director at just 21 years old. Over the years, Yobe expanded her preschool business, facing numerous challenges, including navigating complex regulations and managing daily operations for multiple locations. Despite the hardships, she learned the value of hiring and nurturing exceptional teachers and prioritizing their well-being. However, the onset of COVID-19 forced Yobe to reevaluate her priorities. She decided to exit the preschool business and started a new venture in children's literature, writing books that celebrate the diversity of Asian communities. Her Kickstarter campaign was a resounding success, leading to the creation of her publishing company, which now boasts multiple titles, a toy line, and more. Additionally, Yobe has established a consulting firm to help other women realize their dreams of starting early childhood education programs. She shares her story to inspire others to follow their passions and succeed in the field of early childhood education.
