The offense came from one place and one place only tonight and that was of course, Pius Suter??? Suter scored all 3 goals for the Canucks tonight, 2 of which were set up by Captain Quinn, who extends his lead atop the D scoring race in the NHL. And also yes, there was a benching in the 3rd period, but this time it was not Kuzmenko, but Nikita Zadorov. After being slow on a couple of coverages, Coach Tocchet decided to sit the big man down for the final 19 mins of the game. All things added up to a 4-3 loss to the STL Blues in overtime. The OT goal AGAIN came after a blatant missed crosscheck to Petey's back.
