Funny enough, he basically recommends to trust but verify anything a real estate agent tells you about your systems. The number one recommendation? Change your filters! Logan gives tips on maintenance frequency and what it should cost. He recommends learning about HVAC systems as a consumer to avoid getting taken advantage of. Lauren and Logan discussed the benefits of high efficiency. The most surprising thing Lauren learned was what temperatures to turn ACs to when you leave or between short-term rental guests. We loved his recommendation for how to make real estate easy: keep it simple, stupid.

It is a popular strategy among real estate investors, but should it be as popular as it is?
