We just got our 7-color E-Ink display from Waveshare and its really cool! There's python code for drawing bitmaps to the display from Python. We are looking to maybe make some projects with this kind of display. It seems to have the same exact 'pinout' as other E-Ink displays we've seen. There are 7 colors - white, black, red, orange, green, blue, purple and they're a little watercolor-y which is a nice effect.
